Wayne Lawrence, a native of St. Kitts, West Indies, migrated to the United States 14 years ago and spent the first ten years in Los Angeles. After years working as a commercial carpenter Wayne fell in love with photography and Inspired by the biography of Gordon Parks and the work of Malik Sidibe, Bruce Davidson, Jamel Shabazz and others, set out to find his own voice as a photographer.
